Maserati 4200 Seat Programming
The seat function should run forwards when the rear back support is tilted. It is very common for this function to stop working, however following the procedure below should reinstate this seat function.
- Open the drivers window and exit the car and closing the door, keep your key in the ignition.
- This procedure is not a race so apply each step at a relatively sensible pace.
- Switch on the ignition for approximately one second then off again (DO NOT START THE ENGINE).
- Open the driver's (or passenger's door if passenger seat) and push the seat control button forwards, then backwards, then forwards then backwards. Each step should be a firm hold not a quick flick.
- Then tilt the seat back forwards.
- What should happen is the seat should go all the way forwards and then all the way, this should happen twice before the seat returns to its original position.
- There should be a beep from the seat control ecu to confirm programming has happened.
This has now programmed the seat and all should work again.
